Whether you’re brand new to extensions or a seasoned pro, our guides walk you through every step for a flawless install!

BEFORE INSTALL

Have the following tools ready:

  • Simple Inches Extensions
  • Simple Inches Roll of Tape
  • Pintail comb or Fine Tooth Comb
  • Hair Brush
  • Hair Clips
  • Scissors
  • Mirror setup (2 mirrors helps)

Your hair must be:

  • freshly washed
  • fully dry
  • product free
  • Brushed and tangle-free

DURING INSTALL

Each Simple Inches weft comes in a 50cm (19.6") wide piece and is designed to be cut to fit your head.

Follow our Cut Guide below if you would like guidance on cutting your new wefts!

CUT GUIDE

AFTER INSTALL

For best results:

  • Do NOT wash hair for 48 hours
  • Avoid sweating heavily
  • Avoid oils near tape area

This curing period helps the adhesive fully bond.

Step 1

Cut your weft(s) using either our CUT GUIDE or your custom desired widths.

Step 2

Section For Your First Weft:
Start at the bottom of your head, near your neck, and work upward. Create a horizontal part near the nape, about 1 inch from your hairline.

Clip all remaining hair up. Keep sections clean and thin.

Step 3

Tape Your Weft:
Peel the backing paper off your first weft, and stick the taped weft to your hair, about 1/4" down from the first sectioned part.

Let the rest of your hair down, making sure that hair falls straight onto the taped weft. Press down, ensuring a secure hold.

Step 4

Continue Sectioning + Taping
Continue Steps 1-2, using either our
Cut Guide or your custom cuttings.

Keep about an inch or so between each section, as you work up to the top of the head.

The best placement for seamless results:

  • 3–4 rows in back
  • fewer pieces near sides/top. Keep wefts about an inch or two back from hairline at all times.
