REMOVE
We know life is full. Our guides walk you through every step for an easy, gentle removal process, no guesswork required.
Step 1
Before removing, generously spray all extension rows with remover solution.
Allow product to fully saturate adhesive bonds. The more saturated the tape, the easier the removal. Allow 5-10 minutes for the bond remover to fully break bond.
Step 2
Start near the nape and work upward in rows, clipping remaining hair away. Keep sections clean and manageable for easier access to each tape tab.
Locate the taped section and gently slide the extension tabs apart using your fingers. If resistance occurs, apply additional remover. Never pull or force separation.
Step 3
Once tabs separate, carefully release any natural hairs caught between adhesive using your fingers or a fine-tooth brush. Work slowly to avoid unnecessary tension.
Repeat spraying, separating, and removing extensions section by section as you move upward through the head. Apply additional remover as needed.
Step 4
After all extensions are removed, gently brush through hair to remove remaining adhesive residue and shed hairs. Take your time. If you get stuck, spray again. Never pull. A gentle removal process helps protect your natural hair and keeps future installs seamless!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is shedding during & after removal normal?
Shedding during removal is normal! On average, people lose 50 to 100 hair strands per day, and sometimes more depending on washing frequency, postpartum changes, stress, hormones, or hair growth cycles.
For extension removal, it can look like a lot because those naturally shed hairs have been trapped within the extension instead of falling out daily. Once removed, youโre seeing days or weeks of normal shedding all at once.
