STEP BY STEP

STEP 1

Before removing, generously spray all extension rows (top and bottom) with remover solution.

STEP 2

Spray rows again. Allow product to fully saturate adhesive bonds. The more saturated the tape, the easier the removal. Allow 5-10 minutes for the bond remover to fully break bond.

STEP 3

Start near the nape and work upward in rows, clipping remaining hair away. Keep sections clean and manageable for easier access to each tape tab.

Locate the taped section and gently massage each taped section, using a toothbrush motion. This motion helps break down the adhesive. Work slowly to avoid unnecessary tension. Allow the extensions to slide out easily. If resistance occurs, apply additional remover and keep massaging. Never pull or force separation.

STEP 4

Continue section by section as you move upward through the head. Apply additional remover as needed.

STEP 5

Use remover spray and a fine-tooth comb to gently brush out any remaining tape residue. Then wash your hair thoroughly at least twice, or use a clarifying shampoo, to remove any leftover oils and prepare your hair for reinstallation.

Is shedding during & after removal normal?

Shedding during removal is normal! On average, people lose 50 to 100 hair strands per day, and sometimes more depending on washing frequency, postpartum changes, stress, hormones, or hair growth cycles.

For extension removal, it can look like a lot because those naturally shed hairs have been trapped within the extension instead of falling out daily. Once removed, you’re seeing days or weeks of normal shedding all at once.
My hair feels really oily after using the Remover Spray. How do I get the oil out?

Don't worry, this is completely normal. Our Remover Spray is oil-based to help gently break down the adhesive and protect your hair during removal. After removing your extensions, brush through your hair with a fine tooth comb to remove any remaining tape residue. Then shampoo your hair at least twice, or use a clarifying shampoo to help lift away any excess oil. Be sure to focus on the roots and areas where the extensions were attached.If your hair still feels oily after washing, repeat with a second clarifying shampoo. Once the oil is removed, your hair is ready for a fresh install!
